
HI, I AM CK!
My journey with yoga began nearly twenty years ago during pregnancy. What started as a way to support my body through a season of change became a lifelong practice that transformed the way I move, think, and live.

Yoga helped me navigate stress, quiet my mind, build confidence, and reconnect with myself. Through movement, breathwork, and meditation, I discovered the powerful connection between mind, body, and spirit. It taught me self-discipline, self-acceptance, and the importance of slowing down to listen to what we truly need.
​
As my practice deepened, so did my desire to learn and share. What began as a personal journey eventually evolved into a calling...not only to teach, but to create a space where others could experience the same sense of grounding, connection, and belonging that yoga brought into my life.
​
That vision became Yoga Lab and later Grounded Cafe.
​
Together, these spaces were created to be more than a studio or a cafe. They are places where people can move, nourish themselves, connect with others, and feel supported in their wellness journey.
My Teaching
Philosophy
​
I believe wellness is not about perfection, performance, or achieving an end goal.
​
It is a lifelong practice of self-discovery, self-awareness, and learning to honor what your body, mind, and spirit need in each moment.
​
One of the greatest lessons my teachers shared with me is that strength and softness can coexist. Sometimes growth comes through movement and effort. Other times it comes through stillness, rest, and simply taking a breath.
​
My goal is to help create a space where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and empowered to explore their own path.

Mission
Grounded Cafe embodies the spirit of wellness, intentional living, and community connection. Situated within Yoga Lab, the cafe was created as a space where people can pause, reset, and reconnect through mindful nourishment and everyday ritual.

More than a cafe, Grounded is a community-centered gathering space built around connection, balance, and mindful living. Through shared experiences, workshops, events, and everyday interactions, we hope to cultivate an atmosphere where wellness feels accessible, restorative, and woven into daily life.

Our intention is to create a lasting positive impact within the community by offering a space that encourages people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported in their everyday wellbeing. We hope Grounded Cafe becomes more than just a place to grab a drink but a space where relationships are built, creativity is nurtured, conversations are shared, and people feel a genuine sense of belonging. In a fast-moving world, we aspire to provide a grounded environment that inspires mindfulness, warmth, and meaningful human connection.
